about

Hanssen's second release on Innerflight follows the direction of his first, The Choke EP. With tightened focus and a shuffle in his step, Hanssen creates some broken beat inspired deepness. The recurring melodic elements perfectly align with spring and the oncoming summer. This statement of work is equally suited for adventurous and skilled djs as it is for an afternoon drive on a sunny day.
London's Si Begg, and Seattle's J.Alvarez (aka 214) rework Deliverables into divergent directions. Both display top notch rhythm programming in reshuffling the drums, J. Alvarez turning up the sunshine factor on the melody while Si Begg takes you right into the dark streets of London.
Rounding out the remix duties is Seattle's Crown Hill Repeater, who deconstructs The Ask into the kind of rare mechanized beast that can be found in certain hidden corners of the Pacific Northwest.
