Phil sets an ominous tone in this deep and nasty techno thriller by creating the hair-raising feeling of being pursued. Experimental loops of field recordings combine forces with a menacing bass line that just won't quit as it continues to creep deep into the mix. Resonant stabs emerge and then submerge beneath icy synth squalls for an unnerving and chilly blast of sordid funk that will leave you shuddering with late-night dance floor satisfaction. As this harrowing track gathers steam and closes in on it's prey, it illustrates how good techno is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
